Decide Not to Decide

 

Don't over-think.  If your mind is spinning, and you can't seem to make a decision, take your mind off of it.  Come back to it.  There is no use in pushing to gain clarity.  You cannot force it.  Let clarity dawn on your like the sun breaking through the clouds after a storm.  Over-analysis and over-thinking will only create stress and anxiety in you.  Go on to something else.  Sleep on it.  Give your mind a rest, and give your unconscious a chance to reveal new insights that will help you to KNOW what comes next.

Your Evolutionary Fire

 

Heat.  Passion.  Fire will transform you, if you let it.  It can also burn you.  What can keep the fires from consuming?  Love.  Receptivity.  Gentleness.  The sun is brilliant and life-giving, but you must return to the shade regularly.  It is a fine balance that must be lived when you have so much fire and creativity busting to find expression.  And you do.  That passion is the core of your being seeking to evolve and create more avenues of expression in the world of physicality.  Honor that deep creative urge.  You are evolving, and you will never truly stand still.  Let go into the flames of passion every once-in-a-while, and then return to the waters of love.  It is a delicate balance, but one that is within your reach to master.

Seek Your Self

Do not deny your feelings, your longings, your desires.  Let any sense of emptiness be ok.  You cannot fill the void with food, sex, material things, exercise and such.  Being aware of your feelings does not mean you have to act on them.  Be with them.  You are seeking your Self.  A part of you is crying out to be loved and accepted.  Self-acceptance is the first step on your journey to feeling whole and complete again.

Remember Your Innocence

Remember when you were a child, and every day was an adventure, every moment held possibility, and you quickly let go of disappointment, as you moved on to the next exciting thing that caught your eye?  The inner child is your direct line to happiness and fulfillment.  In all your adult-ness, don't leave him or her behind.  Imagine, play, laugh, be silly, see magic in everything and enjoy the sensual pleasures of life.  Your inner child embodies innocence.  Let this innocence heal and rejuvenate you.  Today is a good day to reflect on the child within and the dreams you used to dream.  Now is a good time to heal old wounds and let the child come out to play.

Truth ~ A February Msg of Love

If you want to be free and happy, you must free yourself from lies.  It is a lie that you are supposed to be or do any specific thing.  YOU ARE FREE TO CHOOSE WHAT TO BE AND DO.  And if anyone told you that there is a deadline for your being and doing, they told you a lie.  LIFE IS ETERNAL.  How?  How is this possible?  This is only possibly because LIFE LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY.  Your parents may not have loved you unconditionally, your church may not have, your teachers may not have, the government may not have, but life does and always will.  And THIS IS YOUR LIFE TO LIVE.  If February finds you unhappy and feeling like a victim, and you are wondering what has gone wrong, remember that YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE POWER TO CHOOSE.  Choose to see that wherever you are now does not define you.  It is simply where you are now in your journey.  And where you are now in your journey is OK because LIFE DOES NOT JUDGE YOU.  Only people do that.  Only you do that.  It is a lie that you need to judge and punish yourself in order to get to where you want to be.  Someone taught you how to do that.  It didn't come from YOU.  If you feel down in February, it's ok.  But remember this: YOU ARE ONE CHOICE AWAY FROM FREEING YOURSELF FROM THE LIES.  So, commit to finding and living YOUR TRUTH.

"Honoring the Journey" ~ A January Reflection

 

Well, folks, another year, another birthday, another transition!  First off-HAPPY 2013!!!  We made it!  What now?  Life goes on.  The adventure continues.  Yes!

 

Ever since 2013 arrived and I turned 35 years-old, I have not wanted to continue blogging in the way I had before the new year marker.  Something else has been gestating in me for quite some time, and I feel it is now preparing to move through the birth canal.  So, darkness.  I have been in quite a fertile darkness the past few weeks.  And I have been reminding myself that Winter can be a time of turning inward, reflection and pause.  I am honoring the flow of my own personal seasons, and the natural rhythms of my heart and psyche.

Are you honoring your own natural rhythms?  Or are you trying to push ahead, when your spirit is gently inviting you to pause, rest, reflect and to give some quality nurturing time to whatever has been gestating inside of you?

I offer you a possibly radical idea; it's ok to not be busy all the time, to rest, to pause, to embrace the receptive part of your being.  It's ok to go "off schedule."  It's ok to be quieter in the transitions.

So, I am being quieter, as I am in the middle of a wonderful transition that will bring me to a place of greater clarity and integration of my unfolding gifts and contribution to the world around me.

In the near future, I'm looking to create a new website and to begin a whole new phase of my spiritual healing and counseling work.

I may do some tweaking to this blog, in the meantime, but it may be a bit quiet around here for the rest of the Winter.

I hope you are all jazzed about this new year and the awesome eruption of energy that has been unleashed in our collective psyche.  What-all awaits us as individuals and as a collective, I have no idea.  The potential for positive evolutionary change is enormous, and there's no going back.

Here's to honoring the Self and the Other in new and beautifully loving ways!

"The Shift" ~ December's Astrological Reflections

In our heart-of-hearts, we know a deep change has taken place, and that we cannot go back.  The SHIFT has already happened.  Now, it is time for our minds to become emblazoned with the NEW TRUTH and LIGHT OF INSPIRATION and POSITIVE POTENTIAL FOR THE FUTURE.  This is what will carry us through into new territory, as we close-out 2012.  December will be a month of paradox.  We will be feeling the positive and buoyant expectancy that Sagittarius brings, as the Sun is already in this sign, and Mercury and Venus move into this sign on the 10th and 15th, respectively.  The NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS ON THE 13th underscores this heightened sense of FUTURE POSSIBILITY and a more EXPANSIVE PERSPECTIVE on where we are headed.  The mind will be caught up in a wave of NEW MOMENTUM, as it awakens to NEW INTUITIVE INFORMATION.  Soon after the new moon, URANUS STATIONS DIRECT.  Uranus has been appearing to move backward in the sky since July 13th, and during this time, our urge for FREEDOM and AUTHENTIC EXPRESSION OF OUR TRUE NATURES has been more focused within.  We have been doing a great deal of soul-searching around who we are becoming, and what structures we may need to break-away from in order to continue our evolution.  As Uranus turns directs and moves forward in the coming months, many of us will break-away from established routines and realities that no longer support the direction in which we are headed.  The first part of the month looks to be full of this expectancy and renewed hope for these sensed future possibilities that will be unfolding in 2013.  However, the WINTER SOLSTICE ON DECEMBER 21st will bring another shift in awareness.  Of course, this is the long awaited date that many have seen as a turning point in our collective reality, where we will irrevocably move into a new paradigm which will allow us to evolve more quickly into a place of peace, equality and universal love.  My sense is that this time will come with a deep feeling of RESPONSIBILITY.  This shift does not mark a magical time where we do not have to do the work ourselves.  It is quite the opposite.  This shift is about KNOWING THAT WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR CREATIONS.  This truth may be quite frightening for some of us, until we realize this knowledge is our release into a new application of POWER and CONFIDENCE to move forward and shape our shared realities how we see fit.  Toward the end of December, we will all get an opportunity to make a deeper commitment to FEAR or LOVE, and which direction we choose will quickly be played out in 2013 and beyond.  CHOOSE LOVE.  CHOOSE CELEBRATION OF ALL LIFE.  CHOOSE FRIENDSHIP AND DEEPER INTIMACY WITH ALL OTHERS.  CHOOSE COMPASSION.  If we choose wisely, we will watch our world transform into a deeply fulfilling expression of our collective soul.  Happy holidays, everyone, and may the celebrations at hand carry us forward into a new and wondrous future!
